I would stay with that as its a pretty strong setup just make sure everything is compatible and fits in the case

Is there anyway someone can shave off some money from this build? I want an ssd to boot from and the i5 and 1070 need to stay but is there anything you guys see that can be replaced from something cheaper? Thanks in advance!

Change the PSU to this one: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/3pqdnQ/xfx-power-supply-p1550gts3x

Pick a cheaper 1070

Pick a cheaper motherboard: (for example): http://pcpartpicker.com/product/yLPzK8/msi-motherboard-z170asliplus

Cheaper RAM and thats it as you wanted to keep that 1070. The ftw and sc are the same except one is higher factory overclocked.

How much cheaper?

You could step down to an i5 6500, h110 board and use the stock cooler, which will save a lot.
