Skylake or better GPU

In the odd heavily CPU demanding game with a crap CPU, sure. But the i5 4690k is more than capable of handling every game available without stuttering. It'll bottleneck a GTX 1080 5-10fps on average compared to an i7 6700k, but it wont stutter.

you do know that the bottleneck in GTA V will be higher than 10 FPS right? Nah they don't need to be very heavy for the CPU to do that. BF1 can do that to a 4770k and a HD7950 at 1440p (I have that GPU, because my 780ti's broke) that i5 is going to be fucked in basically every game the video I linked, since the GPU is much better and that i5 is worse than the 6600k 4.5GHz. In every single of those games it would not surprice me if you would have some stuttering.
