Can I expect a price drop on the Senny HD 650s on Black Friday?

Bluethulhu

I just ordered my O2+ODAC and I can't wait for it to arrive. I'm still using a pair of HD 558s and I'm itching for an upgrade. I could buy the headphones on Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but my question is will you think there is going to be a drop? Waiting until Christmas is also another option if there will be a better drop.

I believe sennheiser is pretty forceful on their pricing strategy.

one of the companies out there that seldom drops their prices much

I thought I read someone on a forum who was contacted by sennheiser about an ebay auction they had regarding the price or something.  then again its the internet things can be false.

But specifically the 600, 650, 700, or 800? I don't see Sennheiser letting anyone sell those for less because it hurts their image.

I wouldn't bother with the HD 650's. They sound almost exactly the same to the HD 600's. This has been proven many times.

If you look hard enough, you can find the HD 600's right now for around $300.

I like that Sennheiser's don't have discounts, it helps keep resale value high.

I've found that they 600's had a better lower extension, but it was minimal and not really notable.
