Buying from Newegg in Australia?

Coldris

There's roughly four thousand dollars worth of computer components I'd like to buy for my dream rig, yet newegg has them for $3400 plus $150 shipping. Is it worth buying from newegg? How much would I be paying in import duties to Australia?

Thanks!

Newegg is based in the United States. Its a United States company. Therefore the high rates of shipping to other countries. The website is just hosted in Australia... it doesn't mean that they are located there.

lets get an Australian to reply to this m8:

you only get taxed after 1000AUD before shipping so about $750 US atm.

ur best bet is to do multiple shipments from somewhere like B&H photo http://www.bhphotovideo.com/

and that will work out the cheapest.

Does the 1000 AUD include shipping? Or is it only the value of the items?
