First PC build, looking for advice

Hey,

I am looking for help on a good gaming PC build. I currently have a 250GB SSD, a GTX 1060 GPU, and 2 monitor set up. The computer they were in is a pre built so this is really all I can pull from it. The power supply is shot, the CPU and motherboard are very outdated at this point.

I pretty much only game, no content creation or streaming. Other then that just day to day stuff will be done on the PC.

I like the Corsair C70 tower, and have the dream of getting the i5-6600k. What is a good motherboard to go in the case and with the CPU? What all else should I invest in?

Do you have a budget for what you are looking for?

I want to keep it low. I know the CPU is around $250 and a motherboard is around $150, trying to keep it around $600-$700, under is always better.
