Hmm, as you scroll the page, the light effect on the phone changes position.. Neat.

Uhh, but the phone. Yeah, it's an iPhone, not much special this time around except.. Lightning connector earpods. Huh, so they are actually doing it.. Welp.. Not a huge fan of it, even though I'm not gonna buy it.. But phone makers will probably imitate this somewhat, by not including 3.5mm anymore.. Or not.

I thought it was $159 to be exact or did you include shipping?

$159 dollar AirPods is still ridiculous.

Just saying. I would never fucking buy that shit for this amount. i mean I bought Fostex T50RP MKIIIs for that - Now get outta here Apple.
But seriously, if you want to criticise something stick to the facts. Otherwise you will only make yourself sound like and unreliable ranting chump imho.

BUt back to the FACTS: The price is ridiculous but as we have seen with the Fanboy Edition Nvidia cards consumers still buy this shit.

Would you buy these

http://www.jaybirdsport.com/shop/x2-product/
or these

http://www.apple.com/airpods/

?

or just go for a real headphone like these

I know what I would be going for so your ( @Curufinwe_wins) point is more than valid.

The difference being the "gear icon x" are a product no one cares about that didn't get any sort of fan fare in it's launch.

Also the gear icon x has some gimmicky features that at least warrant it's own place in the market... Like being stand alone music players, and being compatible with any device you want to use it (unlike the AirPods which officially can't be used with any non-apple device). Oh and they use the standard IEM design so it doesn't you know... completely not work with a signficiant proportion of the population here...

In fact, Apple already knows this and has addressed it... By separately launching 3 Beats product with the same internals... Powerbeats3 ($200), Solo 3 Wireless ($300), and all-new BeatsX ($150).

Don't get me wrong... I think the Gear Icon X is probably crap as well, but this is a whole other level of stupid.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the new specs, at least with the 7 plus. The quad core A10 chip combined with apple ios 10 should totally blow away anything from Android,  plus water resistance, better battery life, slightly improved display, aluminum frame(I hate shatter prone fingerprint magnet glass), the new haptic home button thing, and dual camera all make the iPhone 7 far superior to the note 7 in my mind, although the Note 7 does have the superior quad core display(which is ruined by a curved display in my mind).

There is one MAJOR disappointment to me though. They discontinued space grey. The contrast between the dark grey back and black screen was beautiful and id been lusting for an iPhone in that color since the 6 came out, only to have them discontinue it right when my current phone contract was up. That and Apple's usual outrageously high price, although Android flagship phones are nearly as expensive these days.

I'm so bummed about  space grey that might be the deciding factor not to get one(call me superficial).

It probably doesn't matter to most of you.. but I find the cellular band support of an Iphone Plus line being far superior of most other phone models. Apart from maybe Nexus phones. For a person who has to travel a lot this seems like an important factor?
