27" 4K freesync for $400, or 34" 1440p freesync for $469

I'm just wondering where LTT forums stood on higher resolution monitors.

I have a 29" 1080p monitor and love wide screen gaming. But 4K dropping in price and i just upgraded to a fury X so I wanna try to push it.

I've fallen in love with ultrawide use and the 34" is def an upgrade. 3440x1440 is nice but it's also $469 but with sales tax it's $497 on Amazon.

But the 4k monitor is off mass drop and we know how well they handle shipping things out on time.

Furyx for 4k gaming? Not the best Idea. Go with 1440p.

Take whichever makes you comfy, I mean from 29" to 34" might be annoying for the huge difference in size, try out a similair sized monitors and see which is best for you. Personaly I'd go with 34" 1440p
