I'm not sure exactly the deal with that, but it does seem that turning of JS might help. Not sure, but I have it off for now at least.

The error I got when I tried to get to my profile was 2S100/2 and I'm using Chrome 53.0.2785.89 m on Windows 10 Home (Build 1511) if there's any relevance there.
I'm guessing it probably has something to do with these giveaway peoples overloading the server?

Status updates and profile access seem to be disabled. Probably some temporary thing until server load gets reduced.

Notifications work but quoting doesn't, again not sure if that's because of disabling JS or if that's because it too was disabled.

Dont worry its overload on server so nothing will work.but some features like commenting can be accessed by disabling java script in your browser settings.hope this helped you.

Certain features, including viewing profiles, have been temporarily disabled to improve performance while the site is under very heavy load. Some things (profiles) might come back fairly soon, depending on whether the site remains stable.

What I miss is quoting. Hope this resolves quickly. And I doubt giveaway alone did anything major, we've had big giveaways in past and I haven't seen this kind of result yet. I was thinking earlier that timing of giveaway might have been bit of. You know, since forum update week ago messed things and made forum buggy.

@logicaldrm, I still want to blame the Giveaway for 97% of the issues the forum is having.

As far as with the forum being buggy, I only noticed double and even triple posting. So I guess that can be the other 3% of the issue.

Seriously though, I think a lot of it has to do with that giveaway. But until I can post a status update, I'm going to try not to talk about it too much.

One way or another, hopefully I'll be able to post a status update or two sometime tonight.
