You suck.

Linus also sucks because you can buy newer platforms with XEON that run light years round that setup for similar price.

If you want a working dual xeon system, but a used dell or hp workstation. YOu can get a dell t7810 for about 500 and put dual 8 core sandybridge cpu's in it.

You need thier power board to turn it on. You can also have it turn on at power on if you remove the clock battery. The pcie rise isn't normal pcie and shouldn't be used with a gpu in it. You need dell's pcie riser.

Tldr, its not atx, don't assume it will work with normal parts.

No sir it does not

Are you touching the right power pins with a screwdriver (or do you have a power button?)

Oh, hold on let me highlight the pins you'll need to touch with a screwdriver, also what graphics card do you have? The EVGA 430w is a pretty bad PSU.

...that doesn't happen...you have to get those 2 pins circuited else the motherboard can't tell the PSU to turn on so it can power your computer :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Try and touch two of these pins with a screwdriver and see if any of them work.

I think we found your problem. You bought LGA 771 Xeons and a LGA 1366 motherboard.

You should buy some Xeon X5680 or similar Xeon that starts with X56 to put in there.

note...read the thread/actually look at what CPU he bought...pls? (FPS russian made the same mistake/assumption...)

It's LGA 1366 the CPU he bought...and it's more of a power button/touching the two pins to turn it on issue than wrong CPUs...

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Yeah I got the terms confused on the Xeon names.

Xeons with 54xx and 53xx are on LGA 771

Xeons with 55xx, 56xx, are on LGA 1366

Eh it's meh, not dangerous xD

Maybe not for gaming with a dGPU and dual 80W TDP CPUs

It'd be fine for maybe a Pentium/i3 and maybe a 750Ti, but I'd rather get a CX450M.

OP said they had an RM PSU

Otherwise I second the CX450M (not a silent PSU mind you).
