booting to windows issues

Go to solution Solved by Gravemind,

This may sound dumb, but try putting your boot drive into different SATA connections on your motherboard. My new rig had the same problem, but swapping sata ports fixed it.

Check all of your connections very carefully across the entire rig.

When i turn on my pc i boot to the bios and i need to restart, it always happens and i can't figure out why. the only thing i can think of is updating my bios but i am pretty lazy

By "new components" do you also mean a new motherboard?

If you changed your motherboard you need to do a clean install.

If you changed hardware you may have to reinstall. Also id try turning on legacy boot if its from a old system.
