Shift. The only time I use caps lock is when typing a string of numbers & letters where the letters have to be capitalized. (ie: product codes)

Shift, I have caps-lock remapped to F6, works great for general use (highlights the address bar in web browser) and in MMOs I usually have it macroed to switch to previous target (nice because its right below Tab).

Shift! I disable caps-lock and windows key on all my systems, all the way down to the registry and if I could in BIOS, caps-lock = Control and Windows key = Control, vi editing is a major priority to their regular use, the more control keys the better :P

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

Makes me wonder why they don't make keyboards sans caps lock? Sans Windows Key...

Meh, just do what I do and remap them. If there is a button there at least make it useful.

I use shift for day-to-day typing. The only time I really use caps lock is if I'm coding in a language where the convention is that constants are all caps.

I never use caps lock. Only shift.

Might as well sell my caps lock -key...

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

I never use caps lock. I very rarely have to type out anything longer than a word in capitals, so I just use shift all the time. I've been meaning to actually disable my caps lock key so I don't push it accidentally.

funny when people talk about using shift, but then type a small i instead of a big I

That is actually a typo. A desync between the left and right hand. It fits the same type of typos as: "teh" for the word "the" where the left hand gets overexcited in hitting the 'e' key before the 'h' from the right hand.

If a capital space existed, then you would probably see: "[capital Space]i", or "i[capital Space]"
