Best Mods to make Skyrim look "Pretty"?

Gingy

What are some of the best mods in Skyrim to make the game look better? Texture upgrades, physics upgrades, etc. Only playing @ 1080p btw so mods intended for 4K+ and whatnot won't be needed (for now).

Bonus points for links and short descriptions.

Are we talking 'sun setting over snowy peaks' pretty? Or 'oversized anime jubblies' pretty?

The former. Looking for stuff to make the foliage/water/creatures/weapons/armor look good. Just enhancing the stuff that's already in the game.

Renthal 311 old texture pack by Renthal311 is probably a good one to hit up.  The term "old" is misleading, Renthal tends to take down their mods after a few weeks.  They only just recently put this one up b/c a lot of people were asking for it.

Please use Mod organizer, especially if you're going to be trying out a bunch of texture mods.  It'll save you a lot of grief.

I personally think NLA (Natural Lighting and Atmospherics) is the best ENB preset. It has a very clean look to it.

But whatever you do, get Dyndolod. It might require you watch an installation video, but it's the best mod there is if you care at all about distant environmental detail. It'll take all kinds of roads, rocks, trees, structures, etc that you have in your load order (including ones from other mods), and it'll make low-resolution billboards for them, and then make them visible from almost any distance.

I was running both when I took these shots.

I hope you have a god-tier PC though. Skyrim can get pretty damn heavy.

Oh, and if you're not liking these ENBs, check out Hodilton on youtube. He does a video on pretty much every decent ENB preset that comes out. I'm sure you can find something you like.

Wait wait wait, this is still Skyrim? I think I should replay the game.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.
