It's just a standard amplification circuit, possibly including a larger antenna but it shouldn't be anything special

Nearly all wifi chips already supply power to the antenna at the legal limit, so AFAIK you have to either have an antenna at the end of a long cable or have a license from the FCC to use a wifi amplifier.

It should be legal in amplifying a drone signal. But thanks for the heads up ill check with the guy selling them about it.
