My experience with buying my GPU can be summed up with this here meme. I'm still mad about it to this day. I installed uPlay, inserted the code annnnnd it's expired. Was really wanting to finally play an Assassin's Creed game too.

You can activate the code on any PC, just log into your account. Then the game is in your account when you finish building your PC.

It's honestly not hard at all to look at the small print and check the expiration date.

In OP's defense, having a game code expire when it's a AAA title in less than like, five years—or at all is fucking stupid. Yes he may have fucked up, but I don't put all the blame on him.

 

A friend of mine had this happen to him as well.

I know I could've activated on any PC but I was running Linux Ubuntu at the time on my Mac, not even sure if uPlay works with Linux let alone know the expiration date was in just over 30 days. and I agree Gravemind.

You get a game code, you redeem it asap.

This is common knowledge.
