Making a Gradient (?) background in Photoshop

So I'm trying to accomplish something that looks roughly like this (minus the Corsair logo):

But I'm really not quite sure how to accomplish that subtle gradient effect in Photoshop. Does anyone have any tips?

What they might have done is put down flat colors (in the background the light orange color and the dark purple on the bottom and top) and after that used a gaussian blur effect.

After some experimentation, it turns out that that is indeed what they did, and just used a huge amount of gaussian blur. Thank you!

that's what I came here to say. Starting from photos works too if you blur it enough, might have to reduce colors first.

Yeah, I got a pretty damn nice result if I do say so myself. 

I know it doesn't look like much, but it's kind of supposed to be a background for something else, not really a standalone image, so I'd say it's pretty nice for a background.

Just a tip, the colors look so vibrant in Corsair's picture because they used a orange color and a blue color, which are complementary colors (colors that are on the opposite side of the color wheel. So blue and orange, red and green and yellow and purple).

Yeah, I was trying to go for more of a muted color palette because it's really more of a background picture, but I'll keep that in mind next time. Thanks!

In other words, take a picture, and pretend you used a different lens.
