the 6800 is a bit faster. about 5%

The difference is almost negligeable

Sloth's the name, audio gear is the game
I'll do my best to lend a hand to anyone with audio questions, studio gear and value for money are my primary focus.

Basically the most noticeable difference is the price. The 6800K is going to be faster because it's newer and clocked a bit higher, but for all intents and purposes it will be a stone's throw away as far as the performance you will get from the one verses the other.

The 6800K is the replacement for the 5820K. They are very similar, though the 6800K is a slight improvement.
