I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Windows 10, cause it's newer and you can turn of most of the spying crap.

carbon fibre, looks better and its lighter and i would use it for the LAN PC so i would actiually have a case for that :P
