Do you know of any good Windows phones under €200? The Lumia's in this price range are ridiculous.

The 550 (€99) has a shite SD 210
The 640 (€139) has an old SD 400
The 650 (€199) has a shite SD 212

You don't need a SD800 to get a great experience.

I have a 640(XL) and it is just great. Sure it lags when playing Asphalt 8 BUT you can fix this by buying a Lumia 930 on sale or by buying a Lumia 950.

These phones are not meant for people who play loads of demanding mobile games.

My mother wants to buy her first smartphone and since I thought WP is easier to use than Android, I might get her that. But there isn't a good Windows phone at any price point it seems.

The 650 is great. It has a nice build quality with the aluminium on the sides and durable polycarbonate back.

The SD212 is great for many things including everyday usage by less demanding users.

I will agree that the SD210 is awful but the SD212 is just fine and is suitable for anything except demanding mobile games.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

The only difference between the 210 and 212 is 200MHz higher clocked CPU on the 212.

It won't make that much of a difference.

They are both awful.

No. the 210 performs a lot worse than the 212 despite the 200Mhz difference.

The 212 is just fine for most people.
