RIP Mouse - 2014-2016

HeftyNugget

So I was using my mouse when this happened:

995f9e2714.jpg

Any good mouses out there? I'm looking for something funky, as precise as that one (Taipan) and as comfy.

I also don't like profiled mouses (left/right handed only), I like mouses that have both sides the same.
I don't like having any rubber under my index fingers, but I like the rubber for grid under my thumb
My budget is: [input price for the most expensive mouse] - but I'm obviously not looking to overpay.
Thanks in advance!

i bought a g9x on sale for $60 - its okay

however since then i hear if you want accuracy it needs to be an optical sensor

G502 is amazing. Easily my favorite mouse so far (although my sample size is kind of small) and I would certainly recommend it.

Edit: I know you said you don't want a right hand only mouse but it's done really well on the G502.

I don't get why it is so hard to find a mouse with one button on each side.  How this whole stick 'em both on the same side crap came about I'll never understand.  So I know your pain.

This is what I use.  I like the feel of the mouse, but the mouse wears very badly.  The silver top surface turns a darker color or the paint just wears off in places where your hand or finger are in contact with it often and the black soft touch sides warp and degrade.  Mine looks horrendous, but it still works.  But hey, for the price you can just buy one every year to keep it nice and new looking if need be.  haha

There's something cool here - you just can't see it.

Other people suggest me logitech mouses n such... dude, I want a freakin' mouse that doesn't look like it's gonna transform into a robot.

The Logitech G303 has an amazing sensor, I'd give that a try.
