AMD Polaris Giveaway

gibe nao pls

I have an R9 290 but it's seen a lot of hours of heat and overclocking and the solder joints for the VRMs are starting to give way. Could really use a new card and a new RX would be right up my alley while keeping it all AMD.

I have the gtx 980.
I haven't given amd a chance for a while now. Would be pretty nice to try it out and one of my friends would get my 980.

I currently have a GTX 760 in my gaming rig.  Never tried out an AMD card but have always wanted to.  This would be a great way for me to try out the other side without having to skip meals for a month to afford a new GPU.  Plus it would be a huge upgrade so i would probably end up sticking with AMD till i can buy myself a new rig.  (Probably a few more years when im out of university).  Good luck to all!

I currently have a 960, but before the best I had ever touched was a geforce 630. Now I hunger for anything more I might be able to squeeze out of other cards, or maybe give a card to one of my 5 friends who need a new one.

So AMD's new graphics cards are here, and they are pretty sick... But what's even more sick than hearing about a new graphics card? Owning one for yourself!

Aw yeah man, we are giving away one Polaris 10 video card and one Polaris 11 video card thanks to our good friends over at AMD.

So, how do you enter to win one of these fine graphics cards?

1. Post a comment below telling us what graphics card you're using in your rig and why you want an upgrade to AMD's Polaris lineup. The two winners will be selected at random, so no, the content of your comment doesn't REALLY matter, but this is more fun than seeing 800 posts of "I want it" or "gibe nao pls."

2. Check back here in about a week when the names of our two winners will be added to the OP (giveaway execution is an art not a science people, so I apologize in advance if winners aren't announced in exactly one week).

3. Check your inbox here on the forum to make sure you didn't miss it. Our winners' usernames will be added to the OP here, so if you have any question about the legitimacy of a congratulatory message regarding this giveaway, please be sure to check back here and see if your name has been added.

And, while this isn't a requirement, feel free to give our friends over at @AMDRadeon on Twitter a follow.

Winners will be PMed from this account on the forum. Please do not consider winner messages from any other user in regards to this giveaway.

This giveaway is worldwide with no age restriction.

Best of luck to all!!

I'm currently running "air", which is free but unfortunately doesn't run any games.

So yeah I'm planning a new build and I'm on a tight budget so winning this would be amazing. GL all!

I've got an MSI 660Ti Power Edition in my rig right now; though I love this card, I've really been itching to upgrade to something better for the last year or so. I can still run most games at 1080p with bearable settings, but I'm also in the process of building a dirt-cheap home server for my buddies and I, and I'll need a graphics card for it. Winning this card would allow me to complete the server, and upgrade my rig at once. Thanks for the chance to win, guys, and keep up the good work!

TL;DR: Would like card, do want.

My old (very old, ~8 years and still running) PC has a HD 3650.

My daily driver is a laptop (half the age of the PC :) >4 years) with a GTX 555M.

So even the RX460 would be a huge improvement.

I'm currently running a Gigabyte GTX 660 2GB which is beginning to struggle with newer titles, not to mention that I still can't get ARMA 3 to run at more than 25-35 FPS (1080p, no filters).

I really want to switch to AMD because they care about Linux way more than NVIDIA, but I suspect we won't get the RX480 for at least another year where I live (not to mention I'm broke).

I'd put the 660 in my home server so I can use CUDA for neural networks and computer vision and, if the card can handle it, run folding when it's idle.

Good luck to everyone, and to AMD, because NVIDIA's monopoly is getting really annoying.

What graphics card i have in my rig i have u ask?

Well to answer that question i have to go back exactly 1 year ago. It all begin when my father wanted to get a ultrabook............ and ended up not using it and passing it to me and thus all i have in my rig is an integrated intel graphics 430 which basically means i have no rig just a wood laptop capable of non graphic intensive stuff.

Why do I want an upgrade you say?

BASICALLY I HAVE NOT THE MEANS NOR CAPABILITY TO RUN ANY GAMES WHATSOEVER THAT REQUIRES A GRAPHICS CARD. I WANT ONE SO I CAN FINALLY JOIN THE PC MASTER RACE. Now ask me again I dare you I double dare you.
