What program are you guys using to test ram overclock stability>?

 

I can load and do CB with 4133mhz c19 but i dont know if its even stable.  Got the same score with single and my multi went down about 50, so im guessing its not stable.

you dont just run higher speed till the os breaks or it wont post  4133c19 is no good. the timings will be all over the shop and you have a 4 dimm board so over 4000 wont be possible with decent timings.

Oh wow, so I shouldn't feel bad about my 232 haha, thanks.  When I get some time I might read up on overclocking ram and trying on that front.  I have never overclocked ram before besides setting an XMP on lol.

no you should because you shouldnt even be comparing yourself to amd at all you should be comparing to other 8700k. otherwise you can just run at stock and be faster  Ram oc is hard and takes ages, but you need it to get the best performance.pro overclockers and extreme overclockers aim for 4000c12-11-11-28 1T as a minimum.
