Can we start calling Windows 10-

rm -rf

@Syntaxvgm started the movement to call Windows 10 MSX, though now that apple has renamed OSX to MacOS, we need to continue this movement.

I present to you MicOS, just to mess with mac people.

The 'i' in MicOS should be pronounced as 'eye'.

The original concept can be found:

Hmmm nice idea, like the first one I am in.

But that only is if the name macOS catches on of course, if people keep saying OSX I will give preference to MSX.

Thinking of it, even if its not to fuck with people, MSX sounds better then "windows 10 [edition name here]" if you ask me.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

I think they should just name it "windows" and drop the number system, that means when a new windows version is out, people wont realise as it will just be an update to their existing OS and not seem like a new OS

It actually isn't such a bad idea, it would stop people yelling "owh it will be worse because XYZ reasons" while mentioning things that also are imported to earlier versions(like all that telemetry BS) but it can confuse people if windows keeps changing it's UI so extremely like it went between 7 to 8.0 to 10, the visual changes are huge and support is required, although they can solve that like apple did, just version numbers instead of a whole new version name. But for that Microsoft needs to draw a line of where hardware comes into play and OEMs might start complaining or selling outdated systems.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

In the enterprise area, where multiple different computer are running different images and OSs, they need to be easy to identify by even that technologically impaired.

Really like this idea due to the fact that Microsoft's naming scheme is already fucked. Look at this

Xbox

Xbox 360

Xbox one

Xbox one s

Xbox "project scorpio" (no real name yet)

why not fuck up the naming scheme more already with Windows to, it can't hurt. They have already lost themselves from going from like:

windows 95

windows 98

windows xp

windows vista

windows 7

windows 8

windows 8.1

windows 10

Naming suggestions for windows:

windows 10s, Windows scorpio,
