Nope, my road bike+ equipment cost me a bit more. Most of the cost comes from worn out parts and food that I eat during rides. Expensive hobby, but its fun and good exercise!

I'm with fishymamba, my bike and cycling gear cost more than my computer. I never thought about the cost of the food I eat during rides but replacing parts is certainly not cheap.

REtro Video game collecting is way more expensive than I've ever spend on computer parts, though computer parts will grow past how much I've spend on that after Haswell-E comes out.

I would have to say yes, Computers are the most expensive hobby I have. I have been building computers since 2001, I spend a minimum every year of at least $2000 on computer parts. I would say my net cost of computer parts over the years comes to $90,000 or so. I buy everything that is higher end for computers, not only that but just office stuff in general, for an example I spent $4500 on my desk back in 2012 and my office chair was $400. That's not even expansive for me. I have 2 of the Meraki MS42 switches that cost about the same as my desk just for one of them.
