Sadly, prices aren't there :<

OH WAIT wrong one give me a moment.

I am helping out a friend build a gaming rig and he wants a GPU that doesn't require an external PCIe connector because he wants to keep his power supply (which doesn't have PCIe power), as he can't afford to buy a new one.

I am thinking of a GTX 750Ti like this.

P.S. It shouldn't cost above $120-130...

CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K | Motherboard: AsRock X99 Extreme4 | Graphics Card: Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming | RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws4 2133MHz | Storage: 1 x Samsung 860 EVO 1TB | 1 x WD Green 2TB | 1 x WD Blue 500GB | PSU: Corsair RM750x | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro (White) | Cooling: Arctic Freezer i32

Mice: Logitech G Pro X Superlight (main), Logitech G Pro Wireless, Razer Viper Ultimate, Zowie S1 Divina Blue, Zowie FK1-B Divina Blue, Logitech G Pro (3366 sensor), Glorious Model O, Razer Viper Mini, Logitech G305, Logitech G502, Logitech G402

well, what kind of power supply does he have? if it doesnt have any headroom even a 750ti could set it on fire.

I don't know, it's a generic 550W unit... So it should be able to deliver at least 350W which is enough, I think...

I'm fairly certain that there's a 950 without any additional power connectors.

750 TI or if there is a 950 without a power connector, cant remember if there is but i think there is

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

By Nvidia logic, running off 75W is a novelty instead of a downclocked/cut down product.

Therefore you pay more for it. lololol

By AMD's logic too. The R9 Nano was a downclocked Fury X without an AIO cooler while being launched at the same $650.

At least it didn't cost more. And in reality, it costs less.

It costing less had nothing to do with AMD (same as the PCIE-less 950 having nothing to do with Nvidia). Board partners decide what prices to sell their products at, AMD just dictates the MSRP.

In any event, I see the Nano as being just as bad as the powerless 950. Considering the costs and the fact that the Nano was just cut down (just in a different way).

Wrong model mate

This, also from Asus's website, matches the model number in your pcpp link
