Will I get good Folding PPD from this setup. (Pending Upgrades

I currently have a AMD Radeion HD 7970 and a FX8350 on a Sabertooth 990FX revision 2. I am going to set it up this weekend and was wondering whether it would fold well. I may get a NVIDIA GPU soon and I know they are meant to fold really well because of CUDA and all thayt . Any advice is welcome.

Yep, should be able to crank out some decent numbers with that setup...

Thanks Guys. I will probably end up with a 680 or something like it. Maybe I will wait for the new 700 series cards to come out and invest in one of those. Any ideas on how well i will do with a gtx 680 in my current setup obviously without the radeon 7970

If it isn't too late, I would say wait a bit before getting that GTX 680.

Some changes are coming that will make that HD 7970 match and or exceed the performance of the GTX 680 (in F@H performance).

7970 - 42.7k PPD

7870 - 21.8k PPD

5850 - 8.6k PPD
