Neither mice or keyboard, I have a logitech K360 as a keyboard, best keyboard I have ever used (mechanical keys are too high to be comfortable) and I use a razer naga that I won from Swifty on youtube.....but just as happy with a G400...

See no point buying expensive stuff unless you want it for a specific reason (the looks etc) the cheaper stuff works just as well.

from a mouse all i want is at least 3 programmable buttons and for it to be comfortable. For a keyboard i want: Mechanical keys, a row or two of g keys, multimedia keys and scrollers, backlit, comfort, wrist rest and good build quailty. So you tell me, what do I spend most on?

I would definitely love to utilize more of my keyboard.

However, due to softwaresssssss constraitsssssss, it's almost impossible to navigate EFFICIENTLY without a mouse.

I mean, who would like to "tab" all over the place just to select something...

And then, I somehow manage to break a lot of those "gaming" grade mouses, especially those came from "Razer".

This, in conjunction with the nature of my work, I spend quite a lot more in my keyboard (though I would only spend when they are on discount. xD).

Keyboard hands down will be my next investment and money is not really a concern getting whats right for me is so far so i ordered a Cherry MX Switch sampler to try them out first unfortunately it is only blue, red, black and brown but nice to have on hand.  There are no stores on the island that has any mechanical keyboards on demo.

Intel 4790k • Asus Z97-A • Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce • G.Skill 1866 4GBx2 • Corsair HX850W PSU • Noctua NH-D15 Air Cooler • Intel 530 120GB SSD(OS) • 1TB HDD(Games) • Cooler Master HAF 912 • Logitech G15 Key • Razer Abyssus Mouse • Asus 24in 144hz VG248QE

I don't like mechanical keyboards...go ahead destroy me :D. I tried a few of them and I hate them being so loud, (yes even cherry MX blacks and browns).

I'm a fan of mechanical keyboards so I'm spending more on that. The most I've spent on a peripheral however is on my headphones.

I'd reserve judgement then. You might like a Topre switch, or the Matias Quiet Pro switches.

thanks I'll look into that but I'm pretty happy with my logitech K800 wireless illuminated keyboard.
