OnePlus 3 leak!

BiscuitMassacre

http://www.oppomart.com/oneplus/3/oneplus-3.html I don't know if you have seen it yet, but it almost seems way to good to be true. It says it has a

Snapdragon 820

5.5" 1080p (which will more than likely be OLED like the OnePlus X)

Adreno 530 GPU

Finger Print Scanner

Metal body similar to HTC's One line up

Android Marshmallow 6.0 Oxygen OS

16MP rear (sony imx298 sensor with flash) w/ 8MP front

Non Removable 3600Mah Battery.

Dual Sim (hopefully one sim slot can be turned into a MicroSD Card!)

NFC

It will come in 2 Models each with 3 variants.

The 4G BLPDDR4 RAM model and the 6GB LPDRR4 (that's a lot!) each having 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants.

It will cost anywhere from $300-380, but on the higher end models it will probably reach into the $430 range.

What are you thoughts? It almost sounds to good to be true, but they have done it in the past. It will be released June 14, and will probably go on sale a few hours of release. Tell if I am wrong, but I believe it

to be faster than the S7 because of the 1080p screen opposed to the 1440p screen.

Personally I still think that the support for this company is a hit or miss. Don't get me wrong, the specs of the phone are beyond phenomenal, but if the company can't stand behind it then that's a problem. Let's just hope that this time the phone is well received compared to last year's op2 model.

Wanna hang out with me and people like @Theslsamg, @ Ssoele, @BENTHEREN, @Lanoi, @Whiskers, @_ASSASSIN_, @Looney, @WunderWuffle, and @nsyedhasan. Well.... Check out: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/48484-unofficial-linustechtips-teamschnitzel-server-teamspeak/

Yes it did have alot of problems for the first few months. They have fixed most of the issues already though. I think it would help them allot if they would just fix the bugs FIRST then release the phone because the OP2 still has a bad reputation.

It could be an interesting device on the surface but so have most the OnePlus devices been. However, the actual products have seemed somewhat mediocre. Yes, they have good specs on paper but the actual performance of both hardware and software have been unimpressive from what I can tell. Of course, the price is 50-60% of flagship devices, so there's that.

I'll wait and see after reviews are out and users have had devices for a while before I'll consider buying it. And I would also take a look at their software update track record before buying. If I recall, it has so far been awful compared to how light the skin is supposed to be. HTC have been the fastest I think (besides Nexus and similar devices).

He means UFS (Universal Flash Storage)... I think. I pondered that as well.

No problem. I just fixed the structure because only the first line was meant for you :) (not sure if that was apparent)

Still figuring out the somewhat quirky editor and finally found out how to move quotes around instead of being perpetually at the top. Hooray for learning.

Sorry about that! I mean NFC. Near Field Communication. The OP2 didn't have it and it took a lot of hate for it.

Is that a problem? I just hope there isn't THAT much of a difference like other companies charge. Samsung charges +$100 for the 64GB Note 5 and Apple charges +$100 for the 64GB and +$200 for the 128GB for their 6S Plus. I also hope that has quick transfer speeds.

The S7 and Note 5 are large, but they are only 3000mah not 3600, the S7 Edge has 3600Mah though. If it does have a 1080p OLED screen we should expect better battery life than the S7 Edge. And it should support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 because of that Snapdragon 820 and USB C connector. I just hope no is going to burn up their battery because you can't replace it.

A large battery helps, but it doesn't always result in good battery life. If the software is poorly optimized, you'll end up burning through a large battery fast anyway.

Also, Quick Charge is optional. Even though the Snapdragon supports it, the OEM can decide to not include the necessary hardware to enable it. In the past lots of Snapdragon devices have shipped without Quick Charge (or any other fast charging technology) support and others use their own fast charging technology despite using Snapdragon chips. For example, Samsung doesn't use Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology on their Snapdragon devices but actually use their own in-house developed charging instead.

That being said, they will probably use Quick Charge. The battery life is still up in the air though.

S7 isn't as big as this, and note series are phablet which i don't like, even the OP3 being 5.5 is stretching it for my liking so it will depend on its physical dimension to see it its not stupidly massive.

Maybe my standards are higher than yours, but the sensor is mediocre compared to other flagships.  But you can't quite complain given the price bracket.  You get far more than you pay for.  Overall, it sounds like a good phone. :D
