Youtube new fullscreen

Hey guys! Yesterday I was watching Youtube and there was noting special about it. But today, I saw Youtube updated the fullscreen to this:

What do you guys think about this?

I think they should go back to full-fullscreen and not like this almost-full-fullscreen, it distracts me.

I don't have that so yeah. I know Youtube is updating the looks of everything slowly

Weird because fullscreen should not show the chrome tabs and such. perhaps something is wrong with chrome on your pc or something, though to be fair i was using chrome as well

I just tried it on my chrome book and it does it. Another reason not to use chrome. Opera master race! No really that is annoying I will just hit f11 all the time now

Tried in Chrome, fullscreen works fine to me.

Though I use Vivaldi as my main browser and Fullscreen is also working perfectly fine on that.

 

My guess is that you didn't allow youtube to go in fullscreen when it asked

I've had that happen to me a couple of times. If I just close chrome down then up again and watch the same vid, it is usually back to normal. It does annoy the hell out of me when it does happen to me though.

Happens to me when I have multiple Chrome windows open on different screens. I just move to the other display and back and it sorts itself out
