well that's how technology works?
new stuff comes out, new stuff is faster than the old stuff or new stuff is as fast as the old stuff at a lower price, same goes for the 980 ti and the 1070

Ha I know how you feel. I got my R9 390 late last year for SG$499 and since I watercooled it I cant really change it straight away.

I bought a 290 when they were about $400, then almost exactly a month after that is when they dropped their prices to around $250 for the 290. RIP
