Performance between the two is within the margin of error, although the Shadow Rock Slim does come out narrowly better in all tests, and the Shadow Rock is going to be quieter than the 212 EVO.

That link takes to the Shadow Rock 2 review, not the shadow rock slim.

Here's a review for it although it doesn't pitch it against the 212 EVO.

Performing 2 degrees better than the NH-U12S, i'd choose it over the Cooler Master.

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

The Shadow Rock Slim is in the 'better than 212 Evo' tier--similar to the NH-U12S or PH-TC12DX. That being said, its performance seems to vary more than other coolers looking at different benchmarks and it may have to do with improper mounting.
