Cool thing for tech under $100?

mishmosh21

I was browsing amazon and i came across this: http://www.amazon.com/desktop-computer-companion-accessories-Cosmos/dp/B006VAD2C6/ref=pd_rhf_cr_s_cp_4?ie=UTF8&dpID=41xPkmDh4nL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_SL500_SR135%2C135_&refRID=0DC73EY2KNEMYCXPM17Q

It's a drawer that goes in your optical drive bays, since it could be a way to use your optical bays for something more useful than CD writers.

And i know this is not "tech" really but Linus featured plenty of things on that series like the parts trays and the rubber port covers, so I think this falls under the category of "tech related".

Why not just use a... normal drawer? Or better yet, buy cases without 5.25" bays because there's significantly better things to be done with that space.

maybe you have a small case with optical bays that you take to LAN parties. you can keep all of your cables in the drawer so you don't loose them, or (if your lazy like me) put your password sticky notes in it.

That drawer is not going to be nearly big enough for all of your cables. One power cord and it's full.

I like to go to the ikea warehouse and ask one of the employees to sort by price (Low to High) then wait an hour and walk over to the $100 section then buy the coolest thing there (one time i got a new desk for my pet rabbit)

Don't worry OP, I like the suggestion (y)

My case has an unused bay and this might be useful for the 1-2 cables I usually have just lying on my desk.
