I hope it's not half life 3, here's why:

I feel that They cannot live up to what everyone expects. Anything they make, will be seen as bad, and they are beyond return by now. It's the same problem Duke Nuken Forever had. Admittedly Half-Life would be better than any Duke Nukem game but the point stands, it's too highly hyped and anticipated for Valve to please the crowd.

mmm, portal 3, left for dead 3, some other game that finishes with a three that is completely irrelevant and that no one in the internet cares about.

Now, another option, they want to take control of the living room, that's what all of this is about, they already have the OS and the machine, things left are controllers (or other input devices), something about cross platfrom play (most probable) and my personal favorite: *drummsssss*

That would be awesome.Half-Life 3 would be awesome, but it could a new studio or a new class to learn how to program?(The industry has a shortage and Gabe knows this so if he brings interest then that would solve part of the problem.)
