How to make background as nice on desktop as in Google Images

you can try opening the image in a new tab and downloading it from there. it sounds like youre using the preview image or whatnot

I've found the perfect background but when I put it on my desktop it turn really pixely. How do I fix this? I have a 1440x900p monitor. I've tried changing all the fit settings but they do nothing. Thanks!

What is the resolution of said perfect background? If it's any less than 1440x900, your only way it to find it at that resolution.

it turns pixely because the aspect ratio of your monitor isn't the same as your wallpaper. 

 

Only way is to crop it with paint
