depends on what you get, if they say they "repaired" it then it's refurb i guess, if you get a new unit it's kinda new isn't it?

new, you havent touched it at all and the box isnt broken, then its new.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

You can only sell it as new if it is a brand new card they send back to you. For example With evga warranty if you have to rma it within 30 days they send you a brand new sealed unit. After that you are receiving someone elses previously broken card that they fixed and will have to sell it as a referb. Don't expect anyone to pay new prices for a referb card or even above used card prices for it. In fact if I saw a referb card Id just pass over it without a second thought. I don't like the idea of buying a used gpu that already had to be repaired once. Even if it is a referb its still someone else's previously broken then fixed gpu and doesn't even carry the full 3 year warranty.
