4ghz DDR3 Ram ?

So i saw this and had to post it , the most ive seen before this was 3ghz but this is just insane

Well that is pointless, considering 1333 mhz performs just as well as 2400 mhz..

Well that is pointless, considering 1333 mhz performs just as well as 2400 mhz..

 

Look at the latencies... the results of higher frequencies would be doomed by the latencies.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

Yup it would be great for APUs, but good luck finding a motherboard able to run these frequencies.

 

This is mostly just for the sake of marketing and fun and not really practical.

But then you will have to get an expensive motherboard that can run it, and ram it self, so it is kind of pointless, as you might as well get a graphics card. Also i think i read somewhere, that the faster ram you have, the harder it is to oc your cpu.

If you have enough money to buy ram that good, and a board that good, an know how to LN cool it, then use an APU.. Just no.
