I'm waiting to hear the specs of AMD's Polaris cards, then i'm waiting again for some gaming benchmarks. Then, my wallet will be the defining factor.

 

btw, anyone know when AMD are gonna be doing a livestream reveal of their new cards?

I'm waiting for the GTX 1080ti, at this point in time I don't see any reason to upgrade to a GTX 1080.

I don't think Polaris 10 will beat the 1080, but it will probably beat the 1070 from what I have seen so far. Also, one of the Polaris dies (I don't know exactly which one) will 232mm^2.

After some thinking and watching Witcher 3 4k footage on a Titan X (disappointing to say the least) I think I'll stay on 2k and for that the 1070 seems to be more than capable.

They don't have video outputs.

 

I guess you mean the Titan variant? If so, it will probably be 1000-1200$ because of HBM2 memory (all depending on when it will be released)

As far as I can tell the initial Polaris 10 and 11 probably won't be worth me upgrading. So will probably wait for Vega or Navi and upgrade then along with a monitor upgrade.

Yeah no. I am waiting for Volta. Also I don't know why everyone is flipping out. We have no proof it performs twice as better in gaming as the cards before. Maybe 20-30% better but no 100FPS to 200FPS jump. Wait for AMD.
