Those are very old memory chips in the 1980-1990 era.  They are called SIMM.  Memory today is mostlt known as DIMM.

 

The 486 referred to a generation of processors.  Intel CPUs use x86 instruction set architecture so for about a decade or so, cpu generations used that nomenclature.  286, 386, 486, 586 and then the pentium name took over.

Sooo today I went to my Uncle's warehouse/factory? (he owns a company that makes mattresses and beds and stuff :D) and he had this for me

I cannot figure out what it is!

I don't know what it is!

Both can't be RAM, well they are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than RAM (10.8CM length and 2.8CM hight and 1MM width, around them, both pairs) and I can't tell if its even DDR1/2/3/4 it might not even be it since the notches are more curved and they don't have latches on the sides, one of them is easier to find though which is this pair with the picture above, but not much information comes any ways

 

The other pair, holy fuck it's like Area 51 stuff that they are guarding with their life, I can't find anything on it, tried multiple search engines browsers but nothing at all, even tried my phone and iPad for it but nope!

I'll take a picture of this fucking alien pair when I can but mean while here's some information about it on the physical object itself

He said it came from like a server or something beginning with like Zer------ but I honestly don't know where he got it from since his company doesn't need servers nor does he  and he hasn't even got any

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

This RAM + Pentium 1 = Windows XP HTPC! Right? No? Ok.

Athlon X2 for only 27.31$   Best part lists at different price points   Windows 1.01 running natively on an Eee PC

They are edo memory and it must be installed in pairs or else it won't work. Installation is like a laptop ram and stands up like a desktop. Its pre sd-ram.

Those are very old memory chips in the 1980-1990 era.  They are called SIMM.  Memory today is mostlt known as DIMM.

 

The 486 referred to a generation of processors.  Intel CPUs use x86 instruction set architecture so for about a decade or so, cpu generations used that nomenclature.  286, 386, 486, 586 and then the pentium name took over.
