No, full pascal will be the flagship with GP100, this is the more mid tier GP104.

If you're worried about getting caught, here's a trick: Only steal one part at a time. Plenty of people will call the cops because somebody stole their computer -- nobody calls the cops because they're "pretty sure the dirty-bathrobe guy from next door jacked my heat sink."

yes it is...for now! :)

it's crazy to think that this is just the small 300mm² chip...imagine what the 610mm² chip will deliver...it's gonne be truly insane.

Now I want to see AMD's offerings, and if they fail, good lord this could be amazing.  I really want to see nVidia succeed now, and gobble up AMD_64, get that x86 license, and tear down that wall--that Intel has built, of course.  Reagan Smash

Yeah, this smells Rip AMD... damn

AMD is getting the same kind of upgrade as Nvidia, so I don't think there's any reason to count them out now. Sure it's plausible Nvidia could hold onto like a 10% lead or something, but crushing AMD isn't that likely. Unless the 14nm process turns out to work poorly for high-performance GPUs or something.

Haha, he kept messing up the demonstration and almost skipped a part while CEO was talking. Tom was excited so he kept talking over the Jensen every now and again. It was hilarious. Poor guy. xP

The 980 when it launched was considered very expensive. It launched at $550, so I'm not wrong in saying RIP gpu pricing.

No. Flagship are per generation. They're the flagship of the architecture. The titans have been nvidias flagship for the past few gens. Would you consider the 780 or 980 flagship cards? They both launched quite a while before the titans of their gens.

I don't know either. My Internets didn't want to work very well. (both my home internet (CenturyLink) and mobile data (Verizon LTE) weren't going to work properly. Or it's the heat that Minnesota is experiencing right now)
