EVGA GTX970 SSC ACX2.0+ Club

This is a thread for all the poeple out there that bought the EVGA GTX970 SSC ACX2.0+ (04G-P4-3975-KR). I got mine for £250 with a free mouse and Rainbow Six seige back in november, little did I know that you couldnt liquid cool it with any easily attainable block. So yea. But it does perform nicely, a solid 60+FPS in all games I play at ultra and runs stereoscopic 3D pretty well as well. But the main reason I started this was to see if anyone know/could find out if the two random pins on the PCB that you need to remove/bend to use the bitspower one are LED pins, because in GeForce experience you can edit the LED attributes!

Anyway, a quick search of the site didnt show up anything about this GPU other than this. Which was pretty short lived. This is supposed to be something of an owners club, with me as the possible only member. Yay.

Kinda specific card don'tcha think? A lot of people have 970's, but I don't think too many have that specific one. More have the G.1 or MSI card because of the superior cooling on them.

Why didn't you make this a general gtx 970 owners club?  I don't think LTT has one of those.

Fair enough. But I am more interested in this specific card, seeing that I own one and all that. Feel free to do it your self though.

I know about five people with this exact card.

EDIT: I meant 4

The G1 and MSI ones are way more popular though.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Are you looking to have a dick measuring co-I mean compare overclocks? That's mostly dependant on the ASIC quality of the card. You can check it by downloading GPU-Z and right clicking somewhere within the window.

You do realize that all of the GTX 970 ACX 2.0+ cards are essentially the same, yes?  Except the FTW, which has a slightly different VRM setup.  The biggest differences are the clock settings in the stock bios file.  That's it.

CPU: Ryzen 1600X @ 4.15ghz  MB: ASUS Crosshair VI Mem: 32GB GSkill TridenZ 3200
GPU: 1080 FTW PSU: EVGA SuperNova 1000P2 / EVGA SuperNova 750P2  SSD: 512GB Samsung 950 PRO
HD: 2 x 1TB WD Black in RAID 0  Cooling: Custom cooling loop on CPU and GPU  OS: Windows 10
