A male employee was found dead at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino Wednesday morning, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff.

No suspects are being sought, and no one is in danger, sheriff's officials said, adding that the campus at 1 Infinite Loop is open.
"Through further investigation, they determined there was no other individuals involved and they believe it was an isolated incident. There was no one else on campus or in the public at risk," Sgt. Andrea Urena with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department said at a press conference at the Apple campus Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the Apple campus after receiving a call at about 8:35 a.m. about a person down at 1 Infinite Loop, Urena said. "When they got there, they determined he was deceased," she said. Urena declined to comment on the cause and manner of death.
The county coroner is now in charge of the investigation and will release more information once it is completed. Urena would not comment on whether a weapon was involved or if the death was suicide or natural.

The Santa Clara County Fire Department said crews were called to the scene but were then waved off and never went on campus. The body was reportedly found in a conference room Wednesday morning.
Apple did not respond for comment sent via email.

Audio from the Santa Clara County Sheriff's dispatch recorded at 8:38 a.m. indicates that a female employee on the Apple campus was escorted out of a building by security Wednesday morning, and had sustained an injury to the head, possibly from a gun. Two minutes later the dispatcher talks about a dead body found in one of the conference rooms, with a gun nearby. How the woman is related to the man's death is not clear.
Urena would not confirm any of the information in the dispatch audio, or comment on whether the incident stemmed from a disgruntled employee.

NBC Bay Area chopper footage showed at least one sheriff's car on campus before noon.
On Tuesday, Apple announced its first revenue drop since 2003, sending the company's stock price down more than seven percent in extended trading.

Hopefully this has no connection to their recent financial reports. Hopefully nothing else happens  and I'm very glad nobody else was hurt. Hopefully the cause of death is determined soon and apple can go back to normal. My thoughts are with the family of the deceased.

I moved it out of Tech News for another person to do a good job in posting the news.

Ah I see, I never understood why everyone takes the news posts more seriously, if you have even one wrong thing like no quote or spell something wrong everyone flips out. But in other subtopics they don't care

Tech News is supposed to be professional and high quality. It's also a place where accuracy is extremely important.

I've noticed quite a few people who routinely post unprofessional content with their own bias worked in and flame people who disagree

Please report it next time. While some level of bias is inevitable, and no one here are journalist, if you fall onto a bad news post, or very bias, just report it.

We can't check every single tech news post carefully.
