Knocking coming from the LLT 140mm fan

When its spinning I can hear the fan 'knocking' the rest of my pc is silent and all I can hear is it tapping

try playing around with the fan speed see if it goes away?

When you increase speed sound becomes more frequent or louder?

Make sure nothing is touching the fan blades.

Have you tried running the fan outside of the case and holding it in your hand?

Is it the cpu_fan header? It will usually offer the best pwm signal.

The fan might just be defective then and asking for a replacement would be a good idea.
