Sorry if this has already been talked about but is there ever going to be an LTT App? Also sorry if it has been said that it's already in production but I don't really like having to go into chrome (I know it sounds lazy) and go to the site and wait for it to format to my phone when there could be an app. Also getting notifications would be great especially when messaging people on the go. What do you guys think? Pros? Cons....? Suggestions? Ideas? Anything?

one of the major reasons the site got redone, was to make it responsive.
if you take your window on your pc and shrink it down, you will see the web page adjust by itself.
when its small enough, it changes to mobile theme. wich is made for touch screens

also making a website responsive is waaaaayyyy less expensive and creates much less trouble than developping 2 apps (ios and android)

I like the new mobile version of the site. I wished it was a little easier to post status updates on it, but otherwise it's not bad.

There has been an unofficial app in development and a semi-official app. Both of which have become vaporware. Ages ago

Notifications would really be only benefit of mobile app vs just browsing. Maybe something small like RSS reader with notification feed. But even that would be unofficial since devs are centered into making forum better.

 

You can already set forum to send you push notifications while browser is running. Works really nicely with mobile Firefox. Another option is set a email spam. Which means that you set forum to send you email for every notification.

I've already been working on developing such an app. I plan to make it so that you can receive notifications, but we'll see. I've made a few Android apps before (none of them actually released), so I'll see what exactly I can do with it.

How 'bout no?

 

 

If there is one thing I hate more than anything else, it's when a client asks me to make a program for macOS. I don't own a system that runs said OS. I use Ubuntu Linux, not macOS or Windows (that's why WINE exists, so that I don't have to use Windows. I tend to turn down clients that ask for a Mac program.)

 

System specs:

Core i7-5960x

64GB DDR4 RAM

Dual GTX 1080s running in 2-way SLI
