Theres no way I'm undoing my cable management

When you order a used hard drive from ebay and want to test it but you don't want to undo your cable management because you want to put the hard drive from ebay in another machine

Also the hard drive in the picture is a 250 gig seagate barracuda that I got for $9 on ebay and I'm only sticking online games on it so if it dies I'm not going to loose anything because I can just re download my games

lol, I use an external enclosure to test hdd, way easier.

Well I don't have that luxury I usually I use a old LGA 775 Dell desktop with a extra SATA wire and a SATA power wire extension cable to test hard drives but I'm at a family member's house and I only have my gaming desktop that I keep at that family members house because I visit that family member a lot

Well, it does work! For me getting a power sata cable would be a nightmare as they are all stuffed next to the power supply (as the 4 connectors going to the HDD are already used).

Not that much of a luxury, can be found for 15/20$.

The dell computer has the sata cable just hanging from the power supply thats in the top of the machine so its easy to get the sata cable to hook up to the hard drives so I just use that to test them
