it will work, but you don't need the z170 board or the 850w psu with a non-k cpu.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Okay, I really don't mean to be harsh, but the motherboard you chose is a waste of money, especially if you take into account that the i5-6400 is not overclockable. For your budget you could get a bleeding edge gaming rig such as the one I posted above. Much, much faster graphics card, considerably faster processor.

I mean I don't run too many intense games. The most intense game I have is Alien: Isolation, which I know can run well with the graphic cards. I don't need overclocking. Also, note that the prices are from Australia, so the price is obviously much more expensive.

Yeah, I know, my prices are also AUD. You're simply spending 1000 bucks too much for the performance you're getting.

The only reason why I have that motherboard is because it has inbuilt wifi. -_- But yeah, I'm probably going to upgrade my processor.

I'm aware of that, but I don't have too many usb ports to save. Edit: Also I'm too lazy.

you can get a much cheaper motherboard then and its overkill i recommend allocating that money towards a 980 or something

Yeah, but I'm planning to upgrade other parts along the way. Buying another motherboard will be a too much of a hassle.

You really don't need that much wattage.
