Western Australian man stopped from sending millions to scammers

Western Australian state authorities stepped in to stop a 65 year old man from sending millions to West African scammers.

Mr Peter Melvin Kleinig has already lost million to scammers but refuses to stop sending them money despite repeated warnings.

Consumer protection officials had to step and file legal action to stop him from sending more money to what Mr Kleinig believes to be a legitimate investment.

A head shot of Peter Melvin Kleinig.

Okay, before people start shouting "freed'm 'Murica!" and "Nanny state!", Mr Kleinig is basically funding criminal activity. So not only is he losing money, but he could also be identified as an accomplice.

Does he suffer from psychosis or something like that?

He can't be right in the head. When the government has to intervene to stop him sending millions to scammers despite previously losing millions of dollars, he must have some big psychological issues.
