"IT" Dept. brings me a new computer they built.

I Instantly recognize the Corsair case is not glowing red with the LED case fans (thought they switched them out)

Opens case out of curiosity.

all stock fans, cpu fan included, not plugged into the MOBO.

"IT" dept. tells me that they did and I am wrong.

Places tower in their fridge.

You can tell your friend that Wikipedia is free :)

And that 'Google is your friend' ... where google is a modern search engine of your choice.

macs are better in every way

for gaming, productivity, anything

its because they have special apple RAM, which performs better than windows ram

Jesus Christ that's something I haven't heard in 4 years

If computers have no doors or fences, who needs Windows and Gates?

When I said I was working on a new build someone told me to buy an i5 CPU because i7's weren't optimised for windows 8. They also told me to buy a cheap GPU because that was the easiest part to upgrade (this was a gaming rig).

I told my friend I still had a GTX 690 and an FX-8320E in my HTPC gaming rig and he told me that it sucked compared to his i3 and GTX 960 build. He also said the same thing about my dual GTX 770s and 5820K (his i3 is a Skylake) in my main build. I asked him why and he said it was because each generation the best card of the last generation is equal to lowest of the new.
