Restoring/Upgrading the Alienware Aurora R2

Okay so I've got an Alienware Aurora R2 and I'm thinking of just upgrading the GPU to a 980ti. Will the other components bottleneck the 980ti?

If I'm not wrong, here's the CPU and RAM specs.

The reason why I wanted to upgrade is to help me with my video editing projects that I'll be working on as high graphical settings requires a strong GPU.

 

CPU: Intel Core i7-920

RAM: 16GB

Not by too much but yes. Look into grabbing an i7-960 or higher.

pc specs: 4 function calculator / 8 digit lcd display / colored numeric and function buttons
