im not watching anything, i watched like 1 minute of driving and him (olli) jumping over a gate near the end of the vid thats about it. I really dont want to ruin it for myself if i get it on pc. Honestly the animations looked like gta 4s and the textures look like the ones from gta sa but slightly more HD. Ill be very disappointed if they arent better on pc and ill probably give up on R* if its a shit port like gta 4

It really doesn't seem like anything special. Maybe I need to see more of the gameplay later one, but for now my excitement lvl=0

Been playing all afternoon and it's a whole lot of fun. But I can not express how incredible this game would be on PC. In particular the mods and huge open world, just wow this must go to PC.

I'm waiting until the pc release. I like to mod the game and that's not possible with consoles. Also it would be pointless to buy a console just to play GTA.

After hearing its not coming out on PC: Meh, that game is overhyped. Overrated too, I bet it sucks im totally not jealous at all boohoo.

 

But seriously though I think they just want to sell as many xbox 360 and ps3 copies, then release the next gen consoles and PC versions. That way they make more $$$.

Im not going to watch any because A. Spoilers B. I don't want to see anything that would want to make me jelous

 No reason to be jealous, remember you have a PC. When GTA 5 comes out on the PC, and it will come out on the PC, we will experience it with superior framerates and graphical fidelity in addition to mods later down the line. Consoles may be getting it now but they are limited to 720p and 30fps which is what their ancient hardware can barely manage and they won't have all the glorious mods that we will. I'd say all that is worth the wait.

Open world games are my favorite! Like Skyrim, Stalker, Fallout, anything with an open world is a plus too me. I think the game will be good but the hype is just absurd. Like if some of these people applied this kind of enthusiasm to real life they would be millionaires

Are you saying you find missions boring including driving a tow-truck from point A to point B, connecting a car, and towing said car back from point B to point A?

Ya but to be fair, alot of games start out with dumb missions in the beginning. How many times did you have to go to the forest and collect 10 mushrooms in game x, or clear a cave out of 15 rats for game y? Same thing here.

It's a giant sandbox game where you can dick around with your friends. Well that's how I see it at least. I only bought GTA IV to play some multiplayer with some buds and mess around with cars, guns, physics, etc.

Some people also like the story line to it. Maybe you just don't like sandbox games, who knows.

I like sandbox games, but inevitabely they get boring and your throw them away after 2 hours, it's not like garry's mod where you can mod it and build stuff

GTA V release was leaked by some dude at Nvidia. He brought it up as was of the many titles that Nvidia is excited about for this fall.

If you get drawn into GTA, it's an addictive game. Addictive as hell. Exploration, mayhem, mini-games, great characters, beautiful environments, brilliant multiplayer, great story...

 

If you don't like it there's nothing I can say to change your mind or anything. I can't even explain accurately why I've always found GTA so immersive and enjoyable.

I think all the Ratinigs are way to high.
Reason:
-The Game has Alaising everywhere they didn't even use FXAA or MLAA.
-Graphics are worse than GTA IV PC version.
-AI is still stupid like in GTA IV
-The Multiplayer is not there on Release!!!!
-Shooting is better then in GTA IV but still way worse then in the most Third Person Games.
-Changing between Characters takes way to long to load.

The Game is awesome, but its far away from Perfect.

But the PC version will Fix all the graphics and Loading Issues.
