Anyone else having problems with YouTube?

Well, I'm severely pissed with Google now. I have no idea why, but does anyone still get the message thing where they ask if you want to use your actual name instead of your Username? Yeah, it changed without me saying I wanted it to, also, I have no Subscriptions anymore, I'm not subbed to anyone apparently even though before I was subbed to at LEAST 30+ channels, all my Video suggestions and search history has somehow disappeared, oh and I can't see comments ... The ONLY way they'll appear is if I scroll to the bottom of the page and scroll back up, and even then it's like 50% chance ... /rant over. But seriously, is anyone else getting these issues? It's actually quite frustrating.  

Oh and I did check to see if it was just my PC, and the other one I tested (Which is my parents Laptop) is having the same problems.

I haven't had those problems yet however it has been randomly unsubscribing and subscribing me to channels without me clicking anything. Like I watch markiplier every day and just the other day i couldnt find his channel in my sub box so i searched it and found out somehow i was unsubscribed. GO YOUTUBE!

Youtube is going through a few updates right now. Calm yourself.  There is also a glitch where youtube sets 2 accounts. In the top right corner click the change account icon.

YouTube has been acting weird for the past few weeks (months?) for me. Most of the times the videos won't load and other random crap.

For me it's been acting rather awkwardly for just the past few weeks, but recently it's been bad.

youtube not showing comments happened to me with Chrome and it was driving me crazy.   I had to reload the youtube page everytime to see the comments so I switched back to Firefox.  Speed was the only reason I was using chrome but I see now Firefox 23.1 is very fast as well so I'm going to stay with good'ol FF.

This time it forced you to either use your real name or create a new G+ account using your YouTube account.  There was no option to keep things the same.

 

What's happening is it probably logged you into your primary Google account afterward, where you have no YouTube data.  Just go to the upper-right hand corner where your name is, click on the avatar to bring up the drop down, and select switch account.  You should then be able to switch back to your YouTube account.

I had it and changed back. You have 15 days to change back. I think there could be issues with this affecting mobile youtube apps but not sure if its just my phone diying.

Go to the footer of the video and turn off safe mode.

The loading times for me lately have been attrocious.  I can't watch in 1080p anymore which is unacceptabe given my internet connection (150Mbps down).  I thought maybe the issue was some of the browser extensions I have installed on Firefox, so I tried on chrome and nothing changed.  I tried watching an episode of The Tek, and the video resolution defaulted to 144p.  Unacceptable, I might just stop watching YouTube for the next couple of weeks and see if its fixed then, cuz its getting ridiculous for me.

They've asked me a couple of times over the past few months for the real name thing, but they haven't asked for a few weeks and my account seems fine.
