I have been looking into getting a sapphire r9 390 nitro but keep finding different results for the length. The 37.5cm listed here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B019P30XUY/ref=psdc_430524031_t1_B0152WZYLU sounds much bigger than other things I have read which say 30, 30.8 and 33cm.
Given the size and concerns about my PSU ( http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/gx-series/gx-650w/) in my previous thread a 970 sounds like a safer option.

Can you guys provide me with an accurate size of the 390 and tell me which version of the 970 to get if it's not an option?

The Sapphire Nitro is 30.8cm.

The MSI card is 27.7cm

The card is listed as 12.1 inches (308mm) long on their website. So it would either be a tight fit, or not fit at all.

Thanks all, so do you think I should risk the sapphire or just go for the msi in that case? (I guess I could maybe shave a bit of the drive bay off with something if needed)

The msi 390 also is a 2.5 slot card so make sure you have the vertical room for the card.
